What’s on the Ballot, Now? was a community gathering designed to help artists, cultural workers, and organizers better understand the 2026 elections and what they mean for the arts in Houston. The session created space to break down what’s on the ballot, share how candidates responded to the HouArts questionnaire, and discuss how artists and arts organizations can engage in voter education safely and effectively.
Participants left with greater clarity, shared language, and increased confidence to show up informed and engaged in the civic process.
